by a Court Chaplain
Keith (not his real name) is a middle-aged man – a businessman who allowed himself to get caught up in the drug scene. He was referred to me by the Drug Court Magistrate to do the (PLP) Positive Living Skills Program. Keith recently completed the Program, and is doing well in Drug Court where he attends weekly.
Keith is a family man with a supportive, working wife and he runs his own business. Keith was a pleasure to work with, is keen to move on with his life, always polite and kept all appointments. He completed his evaluation form by answering “The Program made me more self-aware about my drug issues and it helped give me the tools to work with. I now think about things a lot more deeply.”
He was most thankful and appreciative for the support and “listening ear” given to him during times we met together.
